Research

In Watkinson classes, students are able to produce extensive research projects and papers on tops relating to the class that interest them. I have spent countless hours investigating everything from the Salem Witch Trials, Indian economics in the 19th century, and U.S. immigration law, to produce products I am proud of. Here is some of my research.

Suburbia & The Cold War: The Birth of the “True American”

An analysis of how Cold War culture and Suburbia go hand in hand. Not only with "Americanism", but with segregation, conformity, and anti communism.

The Failures of U.S. National Security since the 9/11 Attacks

An investigation into the U.S. government's failures during the post-9/11 response and where they have failed in National Security since.

The Sun Never Sets on the British Empire: The Colonization of India

A deep dive into British imperialism and specifically Britain's colonization of India. This paper goes back to the beginning of British occupation to investigate Britain's economic manipulation of India and how this past affects the country today.

America’s Failing Cities: Las Vegas’s Failure to Have a Future

A discussion on how the factors of a failing city change when discussing Las Vegas, because of its water crisis and tourism decline, which will lead to its eventual failure to harbor a future. 

Abnormal Brain and Daily Functioning in Children and Adults with ADHD
